New Health Clinic Opens In San Lorenzo Valley
Santa Cruz Community Health opened a clinic in the historic Wee Kirk Church in Ben Lomond.

BEN LOMOND, CA — Santa Cruz Community Health opened a new clinic Monday in Ben Lomond, on the site of the historic Wee Kirk Church at 9500 Central Avenue. The clinic space was previously a family medicine practice of Dr. Steven Leib.
The goal of the new clinic is to provide “high-quality, affordable, and comprehensive health services to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay” to a historically underserved area.
“[The San Lorenzo Valley] is a relatively remote region compared to much of Santa Cruz County and it has long been underserved,” Santa Cruz Community Health CEO Leslie Conner said in a news release. “Our goal is to increase access to high-quality, affordable health care for this area, particularly for low-income people. We are proud and excited to bring health care services to more families and individuals in the San Lorenzo Valley.”
