Prescribed Burn Scheduled For Wilder Ranch State Park
Officials said some trails may be closed during the burn.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — A prescribed burn is scheduled for Monday in the Wilder Ranch State Park in Santa Cruz, authorities say. Santa Cruz State Parks and Cal Fire are doing the controlled burn to reduce the threat of future fires and to "enhance natural resources," according to a news release.
Some trails may be closed during the burn. Officials didn't say which trails it might affect or how long they expect the fire to burn.
