Motorcyclist Killed In Santa Cruz Crash
A multi-vehicle accident was reported Thursday evening in Westside Santa Cruz.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — A 29-year-old Capitola motorcyclist was killed Thursday evening in a multi-vehicle wreck in Westside Santa Cruz, police said.
The crash was reported around 4:45 p.m. in the area of Mission Street at Fair Avenue, police said in a statement. Officials immediately began rendering aid in attempt to save the motorcyclist's life, but he succumbed to his injuries at Dominican Hospital.
The driver's name was withheld Thursday evening as officials sought to notify his family.

The road was closed in both directions as officers responded. All involved drivers remained on scene and cooperated.
The investigation remains ongoing as officers continue to speak with witnesses, review evidence and look at video surveillance images.
