COVID Death Toll In Santa Cruz County Reaches 211
The latest Santa Cruz County COVID victim is an Latino male in his late 40s with underlying heath conditions, says the county health dept.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA -- The county Public Health Division has announced another death due to COVID-19.
The individual, a Latino male in his late-40s with underlying health conditions, was
unvaccinated, according to the health department. The man, whose name was not revealed, was the 211th COVID death recorded by the county, officials said on Sept. 16.
County Public Health is encouraging all residents who are eligible for a free COVID-19 vaccine to
schedule one as soon as possible.

"Vaccines are safe and effective, and prevent serious illness and deaths due to coronavirus," the county said in a statement.
