SEE: Santa Cruz K-9 Officer Sniffs Out Drugs Stashed In Soda Can

Santa Cruz K-9 Parker delighted the internet after police posted a photo of her in action. "Nose knows," police said.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — Santa Cruz police K-9 officer Parker's top-notch sniffer alerted officers to drugs stashed in a fake soda can, police said.

The Santa Cruz Police Department shared a photo of Parker perched in the passenger seat of a car, nose turned toward the center compartment.

What appeared to be an aluminum soda can at first glance turned out to be a hiding spot for drugs, police said.
