Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Goes above and beyond to ensure each of her students are introduced to all areas of learning and experiences. Dedicates hours to networking with community members that her students may be exposed and experience many different areas of learning such as: the arts (takes students after hours to symphony & art exhibits), science & environment projects: clearing out vegetation in areas to keep safer. She treats each student & their families with respect and dignity. On holidays she makes deliveries of pies to each family. She does all this while teaching all high school required subjects at many different grade levels and individual levels. Her students and families respect and care about her too. She is an asset and an excellent example of a dedicated teacher.
