MONTEREY, CA — Organizers of the 15th Annual Whalefest Monterey are calling for volunteers to help bring the beloved event to life on April 12 and 13.
The free, family-friendly festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Old Fisherman’s Wharf and the Custom House Plaza - Monterey State Historic Park, featuring educational exhibits, live music, and a symposium with world-renowned marine experts.
Volunteers aged 18 and older can participate in a variety of roles, from assisting at arts and crafts stations to serving as marine mammal costume ambassadors.
