Woman Arrested While Getting Nails Done After Alleged Crash
Police said the Santa Cruz woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — A 58-year-old Santa Cruz woman was arrested while getting her nails done in Soquel Wednesday after allegedly hitting a parked car and driving erratically, officials with the California Highway Patrol said.
Around 12:15 p.m., the woman was driving a 2003 Buick Regal in the Safeway Shopping Center at 2720 41st Ave. when she hit a parked car and kept driving, according to the CHP. Officers located her nearby shortly afterward when they found her car parked "haphazardly" outside a salon.
Lori Forcier was arrested on suspicion of DUI and hit-and-run after officers believe they found her intoxicated.
