Google Store Opens In Santa Monica This Week

SANTA MONICA, CA — Google will open its sixth brick-and-mortar retail location — and its second on the West Coast — in Santa Monica on Friday, a company representative confirmed to Patch.

Located on the 3rd Street Promenade, the Google Store will offer an extensive selection of products made by Google, including Pixel phones, watches, tablets, Nest cameras, Fitbit fitness trackers and branded merchandise.

The company says the physical retail store is meant to give customers a hands-on opportunity to try products, as well as troubleshoot issues with existing devices or get repairs.

The store joins other locations in Silicon Valley, New York City, Boston and Chicago.

The Google Store will open at 10 a.m. Friday. It's located at 1460 3rd Street Promenade, at the intersection of Broadway.
