Police Need Help Finding This Elderly Man In Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA, CA — Police are asking for the public's help in finding a 76-year-old man who was last seen in Santa Monica Monday morning.

Freddie Phillips was last seen around 8:15 a.m. in the area of Fourth Street and California Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, who issued a Silver Alert.

The 76-year-old was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray or green sweatpants and black slippers when he was last seen, according to authorities.

Authorities described Phillips as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall with brown eyes and bald.

The CHP asks anyone who sees Phillips or knows about his whereabouts to call 9-1-1.

A Silver Alert is issued when an elderly person who is developmentally, or cognitively-impaired goes missing and is considered at-risk.
