Police Seek Teenage Arson Suspects

Several surveillance cameras in the area captured the suspects in the alley running from where the fire started on 11th Street, near Montana Avenue.

Police announced Thursday they are looking for two females and one male -- all in their late teens -- who are suspected of setting a fire in a vacant lot between two homes in Santa Monica.

The suspects are described as a thin male, wearing black framed glasses and carrying a red and yellow skateboard and two females with medium builds and brown and dark brown hair.

Several surveillance cameras in the area captured the suspects in the alley running from where the fire started just before 2 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of 11th Street, near Montana Avenue, said Sgt. Richard Lewis of the Santa Monica Police Department.

Authorities urged anyone with information regarding the suspects or the fire to contact Detective Robert D'Andrea at (310) 458-2201 or (310) 458-8495.
