What's Up: Concert on the Pier, Author Talk, Tooth Fairy and More

1.  Author Regina O'Melveny celebrates the paperback release of The Book of Madness and Cures, her critically-acclaimed novel about a woman doctor in Renaissance Venice, who is compelled to cross Europe in search of her father. Tonight, 7 p.m. Santa Monica Library, Martin Luther King Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.

2. Nick Waterhouse and the Boogaloo Assassins perform tonight at 7 p.m. at the Santa Monica Pier with KCRW DJ Jeremy Sole.

3. Did you know today is National Tooth Fairy Day? Does this mean the tooth fairy gets a day off, or you have to pull your kids’ teeth out… now!
