Clothes Dryer Ignites Fire in Benedict Canyon Home
Thirty-four firefighters got the fire out in 26 minutes.

A clothes dryer caused a fire to ignite in the walls of a hillside house in Benedict Canyon today.
The fire was reported at a two-story home at 9824 Yoakum Drive, off Benedict Canyon Drive in Beverly Crest, just before 3 p.m. Firefighters contained it to a clothes dryer and adjacent walls, said spokesman Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
