Man Fatally Shot In Van Nuys; Shooter At Large

The shooting happened around 2 a.m. near Peach Avenue and Hart Street.

VAN NUYS, CA — A man was shot and killed in Van Nuys early Wednesday morning, according to police. The shooting happened around 2 a.m. near Peach Avenue and Hart Street, about a block away from Sepulveda Boulevard.

Officers arrived at the scene after multiple 911 calls that said shots had been fired, and found a man suffering from gunshot woulds. The man, believed to be between 25 and 30, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A suspect information or a possible motive wasn't immediately known.
