New Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council Members Sworn In
Fourteen council members were sworn in by Councilwoman Nithya Raman on July 12.
SHERMAN OAKS, CA — The members of the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council have officially began their terms. Members were sworn in by Councilwoman Nithya Raman during a July 12 meeting.
Seven candidates were re-elected to their current positions, while seven new board members will serve for the first time.
"July 1 begins a new year for the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council," SONC President Jeffrey Hartsough said. "14 just elected council members take their seats. A new fiscal year begins. And the clouds of the pandemic are clearing—starting to get back to the “new” normal. Six months ago, January 1, some of us made resolutions. It’s good to recognize that the things we have made the most progress on are the things that are important to us. I hope your involvement in SONC was one of those resolutions."
