Senator Bob Hertzberg To Speak At Sherman Oaks Homeowners Assoc.
The State Senator will touch on his efforts to preserve single-family neighborhoods in Sherman Oaks.
SHERMAN OAKS, CA — State Senator Bob Hertzberg will visit the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Alliance Meeting this Wednesday evening. Hertzberg, who serves as Majority Leader in the California Senate, will discuss his efforts to protect single-family neighborhoods, and provide an update on school re-openings and economy revitalization plans.
SOHA also provided an update on the results from the 2020 Sherman Oaks Toy Drive, which brought in $8,130 toward gifts for children relying on the Department of Children and Family Services.
"Thank you to everyone who contributed to the 2020 Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association Toy Drive," Carla Gonzalez of DCFS said. "The Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) purchased toys and gift cards for foster youth. Social Workers provided a wish list of items/toys that the foster youth identified and the items/toys were purchased. These gifts were then delivered to the youth."
