National Heirloom Gardening Expo Underway In Santa Rosa

Organizers said the expo has been dubbed the World's Fair for cultivators of heirlooms.

SANTA ROSA, CA — An exposition dedicated to heirloom gardening, which is cultivating plants passed down from generation to generation, opened Tuesday in Santa Rosa, according to organizers.

The National Heirloom Exposition began at 9 a.m. at the Sonoma County Event Center at 1350 Bennett Valley Road. The expo goes through Thursday and gates open each day at 9 a.m. and close at 9 p.m.

Organizers said the expo has been dubbed the World's Fair for cultivators of heirlooms.

Tickets are $15 per day or $30 for three days. Children can visit for free.
