Have you noticed? Sonoma Patch has a new look. We’ve moved some things around and spruced up the layout to make the site easier to navigate.

Job/Volunteer announcements: You told us and we listened to you, making our job boards more visible. Find and post paid and volunteer opportunities right on Patch absolutely free! To get started, click on the More Stuff tab.

Blogs: Want to blog for Patch? It’s easy to get started. Click here to submit your information and tell us about why you’d make a good Patch blogger.

Videos/Photos: We know there is a lot of talent in the community and we want to give you a platform to easily share your photos and videos with other readers. Add your stuff by clicking on the Pics and Clips tab.

Add events and announcements: The great thing about Patch is that you don’t have to wait for an editor to add your event or announcement for you. Select the Events tab to add your upcoming event (please check the calendar to make sure it’s not already posted) and use Announcements, under the News tab, to brag about your kids’ accomplishments or share the news of a new appointment.

Comment: Now you’ll be able to see comments not just from Sonoma readers, but what people are saying across the entire Patch network. And of course you can still comment on any story, as long as you are logged in.
