Women’s History Month begins today! It’s a month where we celebrate the accomplishments of women past and present.

Did you know Women’s History Month started in California in 1978? It started as Women’s History Week in Sonoma County and officially recognized as Women’s History Month in 1987.

One way to celebrate Women’s History Month is to learn about the amazing accomplishments of women who have inspired us through their leadership, their creativity, their commitment to social justice and their dedication to their families.
