Join the City of Lynwood on Saturday March 5 at the Community Cleanup and the Mayor’s Adopt-A-Senior program. These programs will enhance neighborhood quality of life while specifically addressing community cleanliness which will be in addition to the city’s successful Spring and Fall Clean-Up events, spearheaded by our Waste Hauler.

New Program to Help Seniors
The Mayor’s new Adopt a Senior Program, an idea that Mayor Jorge Casanova proposed immediately after being sworn in last December.

“For many of our treasured older residents, it’s often difficult to maintain their properties. The idea is to connect volunteers to seniors in Lynwood that might need some help with basic maintenance in their front yards, back yards and sidewalks,” said Casanova.
To volunteer on Saturday, March 5 and/or to nominate a senior for the Mayor’s Adopt-A-Senior program, call 310-603-0220 ext. 200.
