More Details Emerge on Fatal Shooting Involving Deputy in Lynwood
The deceased suspect is accused of firing at a deputy with a handgun.

A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) deputy is reported to have shot and killed a man in a shooting exchange that took place on the 4000 block of Agnes Street on Tuesday, April 8.
The deputy made an attempt to contact the suspect at 1:39 p.m.,Β said deputy Mark Pope of the LASDΒ Headquarters Bureau to City News Service. Authorities accuse the deceased suspect of pulling a gun and shooting at the deputy.Β
The man was taken to a hospital, but was eventually declared dead.Β The deputy did not sustain any injuries.
