Five Injured in Lynwood Vehicle Collision
Among the injured, one is suspected of driving under the influence.

LYNWOOD (CNS) - A three-vehicle collision in Lynwood injured five people, including a male being investigated today for driving under the influence of nitrous oxide contained in a tank found in his vehicle, a sheriff's lieutenant said.
No one suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash, which occurred around 10:15 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Imperial Highway, said Lt. Todd Deeds of the Los Angeles County sheriff's Lynwood Station.
The driver with the tank in his car was detained, but had not been booked late Monday, Deeds said.

The collision involved a minivan and two cars, Deeds said, but it was not immediately clear which was driven by the detained male. All the injured people were taken to a hospital, a news photographer reported from the scene.
A woman appeared to have suffered a serious head injury, the photographer said.
