Garage Fire Reported in Lynwood
The garage, which was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, had been converted into living quarters.

A fire broke out in Lynwood today in a garage serving as living quarters, but it was extinguished in 27 minutes and no one was hurt, authorities said.
The fire at 3653 Louise St. was reported at 2:15 a.m., said Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher Rey Dong. About 40 firefighters responded, he said.

The garage, which was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, had been converted into living quarters, a battalion chief told a news photographer at the scene.
Authorities did not immediately say how the fire started or what economic toll it exacted.
