LASD Arrest Two in Connection to Vehicle Theft
The suspects were arrested near the intersection of Orchard Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard.

Deputies from The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deparment (LASD) arrested two suspects after a short pursuit in Lynwood at approximately 3:30 45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19. The chase took place near the intersection of Orchard Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard.
"The Lynwood cops team was invovled in the pursit of a stolen vehicle," said Lieutenant Ernie Chavez of the LASD. "Two suspects were taken into custody."

The chase took approxiamtely 30 seconds, and was put down by a team of 6 squad cars, and a police helicopter. No party was injured during the pursuit, but a deputy's car was damaged.
"One suspect jumped out, and the driver also jumped and abandoned the vehicle," said Lt. Chavez. "It continued to roll and it struck the a deputy’s car door."

The names of the suspects have yet to be released.
