The average price is 10 cents more than one week ago, 52.8 cents higher than one month ago and 30.8 cents greater than one year ago. However, relief could soon be on the way, according to Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
"Los Angeles wholesale gasoline prices have been relatively stable for the past two weeks and if that continues, we should expect pump prices to stop climbing soon,'' Spring said.
