Latin America and Cuban Art Exhibit

Living so close to Mexico, most Southern Californians are familiar with the brightly dressed, cavorting Dia de los Muertos skeletons celebrating life. Maybe some of us indulge in a piece or two of Mexican pottery.

But there's so much more to Mexican and other Latin American art.

Two avid Latin American/Cuban art collectors—Janis Lipson of Glendora and —are bringing their collections together for a five-week exhibit to Village Book Shop, 123 N. Glendora Ave.

The opening reception on Saturday, March 24, at 5 p.m. will feature homemade taquitos, guacamole and wine margaritas.
