• Tree Ordinance Hovers as South Pasadena Talks Water Shutoffs (outlooknewspapers.com) — South Pasadena residents with overdue water and sewer bills could face shutoffs after Jan. 31 unless they arrange payment, as the city moves to collect about $1.7 million in unpaid charges. At the same time, the City Council is close to approving a revised tree ordinance that balances wildfire, safety and insurance concerns with protecting the city’s urban forest and neighborhood character.
