EVENT HIGHLIGHT: Carmine's Restaurant Grand Reopening

If you're familiar with the South Pas dining scene, chances are you've been to . 

What you may not be familiar with is its new swanky design. Originally opening in 1996, owner Carmine Sabatella is hosting a slew of events this weekend to introduce his restaurant's newly designed dining room and bar, the Holy Room, to the community. 

Plus, there's new menu items: Filet Mignon, Osso Bucco, Seafood Risotto, Sea Bass and Polenta Marinara. 

Here's what you can expect at Carmine's Thursday and throughout the weekend:

Thursday

6 p.m. Fundraiser for the Aids Research Center in Pasadena with Pasadena Magazine.

7 p.m. Hank "The Piano Man" will be kicking off the evening followed by DJ Herrick spinning house music.

Friday

3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Happy hour!

9:00 p.m. Live DJ with continued drink specials.

Saturday

3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Happy hour!

10:00 p.m. Burlesque show with continued drink specials. 

Sunday

An all-day celebration open to South Pasadena residents and business owners.
