"On September 11, 2001, I was on my second day of training with Morgan Stanley on the 61st floor of the World Trade Center's South Tower. I was 22 years old and had just graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles and was extremely excited about this six-week program. No one could have imagined the horror that would occur on that September day but I was one of the lucky ones; not only because I survived but also I was able to witness countless acts of heroism and saw first hand the bravery of our firefighters, police officers and all those who rallied that day to help others."
Anchor Laura Diaz will also talk to head of counter terrorism for LAPD, Deputy Chief Michael Downing and local high school students about 9/11.
