Daly City House Fire Displaces Two
Firefighters arrived to find heavy black smoke coming from the second floor of a two-story home on Oriente Street.
DALY CITY, CA β Two people were displaced but no injuries were reported after a house fire Sunday morning in Daly City, fire officials said.
The blaze was reported shortly after 10 a.m. in the 400 block of Oriente Street, according to the North County Fire Authority.
Firefighters arrived to find heavy black smoke coming from the second floor of a two-story home. After entering through the front door, crews encountered heavy smoke from floor to ceiling and searched for occupants while fighting the fire.

No people were found inside and the blaze was contained to the home, fire officials said.
Firefighters remained at the scene for two hours, checking for fire extension and completing salvage and overhaul operations.

Two residents were displaced and made their own housing arrangements, according to the North County Fire Authority.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
