Peninsula Woman Hit, Killed By RV: Police

PACIFICA, CA β€” Pacifica police are investigating a deadly crash in town in which a woman was hit by a recreational vehicle as she was walking. The incident happened Friday around 5 p.m. in the 2200 block of Palmetto Avenue, according to the police.

Police say a 63-year-old woman, a transient whose name was not released, was rushed to an area trauma center with major injuries after the RV hit her.

"Despite life-saving measures, she later died as a result of those injuries," police said in a news release.
