Spring time: Cherry Blossoms & Calligraphy

South San Francisco author shares photos signaling spring while on Japan's tour

All shops and restaurants are in the basement floor in the hotel where I’m staying (Calligraphy signs photo E Nisperos )

It’s not about South San Francisco event but friends said to send pictures of my tour so I intend to share my point of view photos on Japan . My tour through AAA will officially begin on March 29.

My group went on DIY mini tour at Tokyo Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden nearby the hotel had cherry blossoms; the white outnumbered the pink blossoms , the garden staff said “Don’t touch the flowers while taking photos.”

I ‘ll have to submit a calligraphy piece for a Friends of Calligraphy exhibition on June to August 2025 reminding me to take some calligraphy photos.

A dollar, $1 , equals 150 yen in Japan. Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world. Every space in the hotel room is functional. I enjoyed the Bidet water cleansing power on the toilet seat cleaning my butt with warm water.
