'American Idol' Finalist to Perform in Studio City

Scott MacIntyre's performance will include a live on-stage interview conducted by music journalist and Studio City resident Fred Bronson.

From a press release:

Fans of “American Idol” will have a chance to meet their favorite contestants from the first 13 seasons of the show at a new performance and interview series at Vitello’s in Studio City, beginning Saturday, Nov. 1 at Noon with a live concert by season eight finalist Scott MacIntyre.

This will be the first live U.S. in-concert performance by MacIntyre since it was revealed that his doctors have recommended a kidney transplant within six months. The Nashville-based singer/songwriter is maintaining his full touring schedule while battling kidney disease. His Vitello’s performance will feature songs from his brand-new album, Lighthouse, including “I Am Hope,” a song that has become an anthem for organ donation, and has been played at events held by the National Kidney Foundation.
