Burlesque? Discotheque? Jazz? An All-in-One Lounge Opens in Studio City

La Maison is probably the only place in Studio City that requires a dress code.

The official launch of Studio City's new nightclub La Maison is planned for this weekend. And the burlesque lounge invitations warn: "Upscale Attire Required!"

Perhaps the only place in Studio City requiring a dress code (other than no-shirts, no-shoes, no service), this fancy-schmancy new place is taking over the space of the R Lounge next to Raphael Restaurant on Ventura Boulevard.

The dual-night launch party is planned for an invitation-only crowd on Friday and Saturday and then the club opens officially to the public next week. It will be opened Wednesday throught Sunday until 2 a.m.
