Paul Krekorian Holds Special Community Hearing on Budget Tonight

The meeting is to allow people to let their concerns be heard.

The Budget and Finance Committee, led by Councilmember Paul Krekorian, will hold a special public meeting Monday, March 18 as the city begins to work toward reducing the looming deficit that could top $165 million.

In the past, the committee held a series of meetings throughout Los Angeles. This year, one meeting will be held in City Hall, a move that saves taxpayers thousands of dollars. While everyone is invited to attend, for those unable to make the trip Downtown, the meeting will be streamed live online at councilcommittee.lacity.org/budget and in San Pedro and Van Nuys’ City Halls. Those watching will be able to follow the embedded presentation and offer comments.
