BURBANK, CA — Randy's Donuts, a 70-year, Los Angeles icon with a giant rooftop doughnut at its original Inglewood site, is expanding with its first San Fernando Valley shop in Burbank.

Opening Wednesday, June 1 on North Hollywood Way, the business will celebrate its grand opening with a DJ, an 11 a.m. ribbon cutting with the Burbank Chamber of Commerce and free, raised glazed doughnuts to all from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Follow that up on Friday, June, 3, with a National Doughnut Day freebie: one free, classic doughnut to patrons from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., and no purchase necessary.

Plus, Randy’s Donuts will mark Pride Month in June with its "Pride Flag Donut," at $3.35 each, with a percentage of proceeds to Los Angeles and Orange County LGBTQ centers, company officials said. The Pride doughnuts are expected to hit the Burbank store the second week in June.

Burbank is the 10th Southern California location for the enterprise. The site is franchised to Madison Valley Group Inc., which also operates multiple WaBa Grills, management said.

Other Randy's Donuts locations include Inglewood (the original), El Segundo, Torrance, Downey, Pasadena, Santa Monica, Santa Ana and Costa Mesa.

“We’re thrilled to bring the world’s most-famous donuts to the Media Capital of the World, just minutes away from Burbank Airport," said Panos Grivakis, the Burbank franchisee. "Just like Inglewood and LAX, folks traveling to and from Burbank, and everyone in San Fernando Valley, can pick up Southern California’s most iconic donuts any day of the week.”

The original Randy's Donuts opened in 1952 in Inglewood on West Manchester Boulevard and became an iconic landmark for movie/TV filming and tourist stops with its 32-foot, rooftop doughnut.

"Our fans come for the photo ops, but stay for the best donuts they’ve ever tasted," the company said.

Randy’s serves more than 60 varieties of classic, deluxe, fancy and premium doughnuts, most under $2, along with "Randy’s Rounds," a larger version of a donut hole. Also on the menu are Randy’s Roast proprietary coffee blend, espressos, cold brews, iced drinks and frappes.

The Burbank Randy's Donuts is at 3007 N. Hollywood Way. For ordering and more info, visit the website here.
