A fire atop the office building for Vivid Entertainment, the leading producer and distributor of adult entertainment, resulted in both sides of Cahuenga Boulevard being closed off for a few hours Saturday night.

The fire, reported at 7:16 p.m., was contained to an air conditioning unit on the roof of the building at 3599 Cahuenga Boulevard and did not go into the offices below, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Cecil Manresa. A cause has yet to be determined.

Georgia Fanthorpe, 12, lives on the hill near the building and sent her photos of the incident to Studio City Patch.

"Tonight there was a fire at the Vivid Entertainment office building near to Universal City, and as it's close to my house I walked over and took some photos," Fanthorpe wrote. "The traffic on Cahuenga Boulevard was stopped in both directions and there were at least seven fire trucks, as well as ambulances and smaller LAFD vehicles, but I don't think anyone was hurt."

Vivid is known for adult spoofs of Batman and Star Wars as well as distributing sex tapes of Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian.

Immediately, porn fans, followers and stars themselves began making jokes about the fire. Mo Reese @MOXXX wrote:
