Studio City Votes Overwhelmingly for Greuel

All but two precincts in the Studio City area voted for local resident Wendy Greuel who was running in the Los Angeles city mayoral election primaries on Tuesday. 

The two precincts were in the Colfax Meadows area. In most of the other areas of Studio City, Greuel received more than 40 percent of the vote, and in one area in the hills, she received nearly 50 percent of those who voted in the race.

The numbers were in fact, very small, with one district along Coldwater Canyon Avenue having 59 votes for Eric Garcetti to 54 for Greuel and in the precinct just south, which includes an area just south of Ventura Boulevard, the vote was 86 for Garcetti to 81 for Greuel.

The two will face a run-off in May. Both campaigns have offices in Studio City.

Not surprising, there were no precincts that voted to approve Measure A that would increase the sales tax, and that was defeated citywide.
