200 More Jobs Up For Grabs At Pechanga

The Temecula-based casino and resort needs to fill slots as it readies for its resort opening.

TEMECULA, CA -- Pechanga Resort & Casino is looking to hire 200 people as it prepares for the opening of its new resort.

Pechanga, which invested $285 million to expand its resort, will hold a job fair on Thursday, Nov. 9 at the casinos' application center in Temecula.

“We know we’re in an employee’s market right now,” said Shannon Weidauer, vice president of human resources for Pechanga. “It’s fantastic that unemployment levels are down so low, though we’ve also found we’re drawing similar applicants looking for jobs at Temecula’s wineries and those are expanding, too. The region is growing at such a fast rate, quality candidates are recruited very quickly.”
