'A Role Model' In Temecula: Star Student
This honor roll student and Senior Girl Scout is responsible and loyal, according to her mother.
TEMECULA, CA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.
This submission comes from mother Deborah Cyrus who nominated her daughter Audrey, a senior in Temecula.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Not only is Audrey an honor roll student and Senior Girl Scout but she also exemplifies what a good role model should look like, her mother said.
"Audrey works hard at school as well as work and her many babysitting jobs she has. She volunteers with Girl Scouts as a camp counselor as well as many other organizations when asked, earning more than double the volunteer hours required to graduate."
She is a great friend to many, a great sister and mentor.

She's fiercely loyal and honest.
