See Temecula's Best Christmas Decorations At Restaurants, Businesses In 2025

Winners of the Temecula Chilled's Best Decorated Business, Winery, and Hotels are announced!

TEMECULA, CA — When it comes to businesses, restaurants, and hotels competing for best holiday decorations in Temecula Valley, we're all winners. Visit Temecula Valley announced those winners of the 2025 Temecula Chilled Holiday Decorating Contest, an annual event designed to encourage local businesses to create a fun and festive atmosphere for visitors and residents.

Judging took place in three categories: Best Decorated Old Town Business, Best Decorated Winery, and Best Decorated Tree in a Hotel.

"Seven local businesses were awarded for creating show-stopping holiday displays," a spokesperson for Visit Temecula shared with Patch.

1909:

In the Best Decorated Old Town Business category, First Place ($500) went to 1909, located at 28656 Old Town Front Street, for its magical Winter Wonderland theme and extravagant holiday displays.

LUKES ON FRONT STREET:

Second Place ($300) was awarded to Luke’s on Front, located at 28693 Old Town Front Street, for charming the judges with unique and charming décor inside as well as outside on the restaurant’s rooftop patio.

THOMPSON & TWAIN:

Thompson & Twain, located inside Crush & Brew, at 28544 Old Town Front Street, took third place ($100) for displaying cozy, period-appropriate holiday décor transporting guests to an Old Western speakeasy. Prizes were provided by Visit Temecula Valley and Old Town Temecula Association.

EUROPA VILLAGE:

In the Best Decorated Winery category, Europa Village , located at 41150 Via Europa, won $500 and wowed the judges with thousands of twinkling lights and its magical, Old World-themed décor.

CALLAWAY WINERY:

Second Place ($300) went to Callaway Winery, located at 32720 Rancho California Road, for its vintner-themed décor, including a massive outdoor “tree” constructed of wine barrels and adorned with colorful lights and accents.

PELTZER WINERY:

Third Place ($200) was awarded to Peltzer Winery, located at 40275 Calle Contento.

Visit Peltzer for a fun, farm-like holiday atmosphere for guests, complete with an old-fashioned family ice rink.

Prizes for this category were provided by Visit Temecula Valley and the Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association.

EMBASSY SUITES, TEMECULA:

In the Best Decorated Tree in a Hotel category, Embassy Suites earned accolades for its stunning red and gold tree adorned with shimmering lights, ribbons, and sweet polar bear companions.

A delicious prize for the team was provided by EAT Marketplace.

“Each year, our holiday decorating contest showcases the amazing creativity of our local business owners and their employees,” said Scott A. Wilson, CEO of Visit Temecula Valley. “We encourage visitors to fully experience what makes Temecula Valley shine during the season by taking a tour around town to experience these wonderful displays. Congratulations to the winners!”

This year, the entrees were judged on a volunteer basis by five California destinations: Visit Greater Palm Springs, Visit Oceanside, Visit San Diego, Visit Santa Barbara, and Visit Santa Cruz.
