'Taylor Found Her Sport In Track:' Murrieta Star Student Athlete

MURRIETA, CA — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know the individual stories behind the leaderboard.

Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

Taylor has participated in almost every sport as a child. I did this so she would be able to find the one sport that was HER SPORT.

While she has excelled in many she has also excelled in school.

She has been a straight-A student since Kindergarten with the exception of two times in her life where she got a B. She’s in all accelerated or AP courses and she is a wonderful child as well.

I believe she should be recognized for her hard work in everything she does including being a big sister to her four younger brothers.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

She wears her heart on her sleeve and is a wonderful listener. She gives the best hugs and loves to use me as her personal pillow.
