Temecula Garage Fire Quickly Contained

TEMECULA, CA — A garage fire in Temecula early Monday morning caused smoke damage to a home but no injuries were reported.

The blaze in the 34000 block of Coppola Street was reported at 12:14 a.m., according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

When crews arrived on scene, they found a home's garage "fully involved" with fire, the agency reported.

The blaze was contained to the garage at 1:09 a.m. but there was smoke damage and "minor extension" into the home's attic, according to the agency.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
