TEMECULA, CA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks! Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours. This submission comes from Tiffany Dorin, who nominated Camille George of Temecula.
What makes your Mom extra special?
Somehow Camille makes every other mom feel like a superhero when she is a full-blown superhero herself, as an incredible mom to the sweetest, most special CP warrior boy, Colton. Camille is not only a single mama, but a cancer survivor and holistic health advocate (mind, body, spirit). She feels like everyone’s biggest cheerleader, and always finds ways to positively impact her community, all while working on her non-profit organization that benefits children with special needs (creating programs like weekend activities, sports, counseling for siblings, support groups for parents, etc.)
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
Camille is the most compassionate and loving mom, not just to her own son, but to all of her friends’ and family’s kids too. She is passionate about making a difference in others’ lives, especially children with special needs.
