Temecula's Choose-And-Cut Christmas Tree Farm Opens For Reservations Starting Black Friday

TEMECULA, CA — Temecula's only Choose-and-Cut Christmas Tree operation at Gold Crown Farms opens to the public this Friday, Black Friday, offering families a traditional, private holiday experience by reservation only, according to owner Kurt Merrill.

Reservations for the farm are needed to ensure the best possible experience.

The lot will also sell cut trees from their Old Town Temecula location during the season, according to Merrill.

The Christmas tree farm features Monterey Pine Christmas trees, a peaceful setting for selecting and cutting a tree, and a selection of farm-made gifts and treats.

"This year’s opening brings a unique holiday experience and a return to classic seasonal traditions. Visitors can reserve time slots to explore the private tree preserve, choose and cut their own Monterey Pines with staff assistance, and enjoy on-site farm-fresh offerings," Merrill told Patch.

The farm offers unique gifts produced on the property, including honey, roasted macadamia nuts, and handmade beeswax candles, perfect for holiday gifting.

The by-reservation model helps manage crowds and create a relaxed atmosphere where guests can take their time, take photos, and make memories. Families are encouraged to book early, as the time slots tend to fill quickly. Visitors should arrive at their scheduled time and bring any necessary vehicle straps or bungee cords for safe transport home.
