"This is our version of a Turkey Trot," Kiggins said of the race that already has over 200 participants registered. "The event blends fitness, faith, and fun in a festive morning that brings together families, friends, and local businesses in the spirit of gratitude."

All participants will receive race-day goodie bags valued at more than the cost of registration, a commemorative T-shirt, and access to the post-race celebration.

In 2025, organizers are still seeking two local breweries to donate beer kegs for the post-race festivities — a tax-deductible contribution that keeps spirits high while supporting a worthy cause.

The post-race celebration will feature music, local vendors, and community partners, including the school’s HOSA medical support team and generous sponsors who help make the event possible.

The School Board sponsors the event, and proceeds will support the school's educational programs, campus improvements and student activities.

The Nun Run has drawn strong local support from sponsors, vendors, and volunteers. Businesses that contribute receive prominent recognition on the official race T-shirt and social media channels, making it an excellent opportunity for community engagement and visibility.

Remember to register early.

"Early bird registration is available through October 31, offering discounted rates for individuals and families," Kiggins said. Sponsors are still welcome, with multiple tiers available for local businesses and organizations looking to support the event while gaining community exposure.
