Youth Horseback Rider Hurt Near Temecula, Airlifted To Hospital
A rescue helicopter was dispatched to the area to transport the victim to a waiting air ambulance, fire officials said.

AGUANGA, CA — A youth who was injured while horseback riding in a remote area of Aguanga was airlifted to a hospital Wednesday afternoon.
County fire officials received reports of the injury at 3:43 p.m. at a trail near the intersection of Indian Rock Road and Bay Meadow Way, according to department spokesman Rob Roseen.
A rescue helicopter was dispatched to the area to transport the victim to a waiting air ambulance, which then airlifted the unidentified rider to a medical center for treatment of what were described as moderate injuries, Roseen said.

Authorities did not release the patient's name or age, nor reveal what type of injuries the equestrian sustained.
