• Union City woman charged with attempted murder, stalking and child abuse (sfchronicle.com) — A Union City resident has been charged in Contra Costa County with attempted murder, stalking, child abuse and criminal threats after a November shooting that seriously injured a minor. Prosecutors say she fired a handgun at the child and allegedly harassed two victims, while she remains in custody on a high bond and has pleaded not guilty.
