Victor Manuel Espino has been located and arrested after allegedly shooting at a family following a traffic incident in Mar Vista.
MAR VISTA, CA -- An arrest has been made following an incident earlier this month where a man allegedly shot at a family of three after striking their vehicle in a hit-and-run traffic collision.
According to the LAPD, Victor Manuel Espino -- no age or city of residence provided -- was apprehended by police with the help of video footage and members of the community.
The arrest stems from an incident that occurred around 7:25 pm on Sept. 3. According to police, a family of three was traveling in a vehicle westbound on Venice Boulevard from Sawtelle Avenue when their vehicle was rear-ended by a black Toyota Tacoma.

The driver of the Tacoma then drove off without assisting the family, identifying himself or exchanging information, according to police.
At that point, police say the family followed the driver of the Tacoma for about half a mile before the motorist pointed a revolver out of the driver's side window and fired two rounds before speeding off.
