Mar Vista Fire: Huge Commercial Fire Under Control
Breaking: The blaze happened at Centinela and Palms.

VENICE, CA — As of 1:22 p.m., Los Angeles Fire Department officials say they have fully extinguished a "stubborn" fire at 3519 S. Centinela Avenue. The fire was confined to the common attic of the 9,200 square-foot, 69-year-old building that houses seven businesses.
119 firefighters took just over an hour and a half to fully extinguish this "Major Emergency" fire. There were no injuries reported. Streets are still closed but are expected to open up soon.
